Elcerlyck Silver Edition Gin
PETER DE CLERCQ CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF ELCKERLIJC WITH TASTE
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Elckerlijc restaurant, Peter De Clercq asked us to create a gin based exclusively on wild herbs and berries from the restaurant’s immediate surroundings. The rural dirt roads and Drongengoed forest are a treasure trove of indigenous herbs, berries and mushrooms.
To create this very personal gin we used penny bun, black thorn, calluna, elderflower, hollyberry, water pepper, ground elder and common medlar, among others. They provide the unique flavour that is typical of the terroir.
